Wow. You're not kidding. That is THE most blatantly slashy movie trailer ever made. It would be damn difficult for that to have been unintentional. Just... wow.
I'm relieved that you agree. For some reason, it makes me feel better.
Here's the one I actually saw, which is perhaps even slashier: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i2aobtJy Funnier ending bit, too. The rest is pretty much the same.
I agree totally! I am a fan of Sherlock Holmes and when I saw the casting I was just shock (in a positive way of course). OK I think that Robert Downey, Jr. is not my idea of Sherlock Holmes but him and Jude Law together... Yes!!! and if you add Mark Strong as Lord Blackwood (Septimus in Stardust) you can even imagine a lot of pleasantly nasty things.

I saw that trailer when I went to HBP at midnight and I wondered whether it was just me in my both sleepy and adrenaline crazed state.
They know that making Holmes and Watson homosexual will take away two-thirds of their box office. Who is going to want to see Downey Jr. and Law make out? I don't think it would be appealing to women. Heh. ;)

All I can say is "BBC's Merlin". It's the slashiest supposed not-slash around.
